St Mary man charged with robbing school

Thirty-three-year-old Omar Rose of Sandside, St Mary, has been charged with housebreaking and larceny following an alleged theft from a school in the area between November 20 and 21.
Reports from the Port Maria police are that a woman securely locked the school at 3:30 p.m. and left. She returned the following morning and discovered that the institution had been broken into, and several notebooks were missing. A report was made to the police, and Rose was taken into custody and charged after he was seen with the notebooks in his possession.
He is scheduled to appear in the St Mary Parish Court on December 18.
